Flu and Colds Kit

Vitamin D3 w/K2 in the Flu & Colds Kit

Vitamin D3 with K2 has been known to reduce colds and the flu when taken when a person gets reduced time in the sun. It strengthens the cell walls boosting the immune system and making cells less vulnerable to toxins, viruses, and parasites.

Vitamin D3 plays a well-documented role in immune function, and pairing it with vitamin K2 helps the body use it more effectively. Research shows that maintaining healthy vitamin D levels can help reduce both the risk and the impact of upper respiratory infections, including the common cold and influenza.

Vitamin K2 works alongside D3 by helping direct calcium to the bones and teeth rather than soft tissues, supporting the overall effectiveness of vitamin D for immune and systemic health. While most respiratory infection trials have focused on vitamin D alone, the D3 + K2 combination is widely used for its complementary benefits and is included in the Flu & Colds Kit for that reason.

How Members Typically Use It

  • Take the D3/K2 capsules included in the kit daily as directed, especially during cold and flu season or at the first sign of symptoms.
  • Alongside the rest of the kit: Take your vitamin C, zinc, colloidal silver, Sambucol and HCQ on schedule. The D3/K2 is simply another layer in the same short-term support plan.

This FluCold Kit is ONLY available to Alt1 members. So if you'd like to join for free, do so here: wdtt.us/mem

Most members use it only while symptoms are present and then stop. There is no need for continuous daily use once you feel better.

Why It's in the Kit

A major 2017 meta-analysis published in The BMJ (Martineau et al.) reviewed individual participant data from 25 randomized controlled trials involving more than 11,000 people. Vitamin D supplementation reduced the risk of acute respiratory tract infections overall. The benefit was strongest in people with low baseline vitamin D levels and when vitamin D was taken daily or weekly rather than in large intermittent doses. 1

Additional studies have examined severity and duration. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial found that participants taking 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 (the form the body uses) experienced shorter cold duration and significantly better physical symptom scores and quality-of-life scores while ill compared with placebo. Other analyses have reported modest reductions in symptom duration with vitamin D supplementation. 2

Combined with the high-dose vitamin C powder, zinc, HCQ, Colloidal Silver, and elderberry (Sambucol) already in the Flu & Colds Kit, it gives members a straight forward set of tools they can start the moment symptoms appear-without waiting for a doctor's visit or a prescription.
