Flu and Colds Kit

Vitamin C in the Flu & Colds Kit

During my research into alternative ways to fight the Swine Flu virus, I was introduced to Vitamin C as a therapy. At first I was reluctant, really, Vitamin C, orange juice? It couldn't be that simple could it? Eventually, the answer was Yes, it was that simple. Coming to the conclusion that it was the very foundational building block of your entire immune system after reading hundreds of documents from Dr. Frederick Klenner, the Reidsville, NC hometown doctor who pioneered high dose vitamin c to cure polio, snake bites, viral and bacterial infections and reducing miscarrages in what became known as the "vitamin c babies". Ultimately, he documented the use of ascorbic acid (vitamin c) in over 3,000 cases.

When I read about his high dose vitamin c treatments in the polio outbreak of 1948-49 where he claims he successfully treated 60 out of 60 cases with reversal of paralysis and no lingering effects of having had poliomyletis, he should have been on the front page of every paper in the free world, instead, he as ostrisized, ridiculed and shunned as a lunatic.

How Members Typically Use It

  • Take the powdered Vitamin C included in the kit daily as directed, 1/2 teaspoon equals approximately 2,000mg of vitamin c, mix in your juice of preference, especially during cold and flu season or at the first sign of symptoms.
  • Alongside the rest of the kit: Take your vitamin D3/K2, zinc, colloidal silver, Sambucol® and HCQ on schedule. The powedered Vitamin C is simply another layer in the same short-term support plan.

This FluCold Kit is ONLY available to Alt1 members. So if you'd like to join for free, do so here: wdtt.us/mem

Most members use it only while symptoms are present and then stop. There is no need for continuous daily use once you feel better.

Why It's in the Kit

Vitamin C is included in the Flu & Colds Kit because research consistently shows it can help shorten the duration and reduce the severity of cold symptoms when used regularly or at the start of illness. It supports immune cell function and acts as an antioxidant, giving the body additional resources while dealing with a cold or flu.

A 2023 meta-analysis of randomized, double-blind trials found that vitamin C reduced the overall severity of common colds by 15% (95% CI 9-21%). The benefit was especially noticeable for more severe symptoms. 1

The long-standing Cochrane review (Hemilä & Chalker) examined dozens of trials and reported that regular vitamin C supplementation shortened cold duration by about 8% in adults and 14% in children. In children receiving 1-2 grams per day, the reduction reached 18%. Severity measures, such as days spent indoors or symptom scores, also improved with regular use. 2

Higher doses appear to produce larger effects in some studies. Analyses of trials using 6-8 grams on the first day or early in the illness showed roughly twice the reduction in duration compared with lower doses of 3-4 grams.3

A 2021 systematic review and meta-analysis also found that vitamin C shortened the duration of acute respiratory infection symptoms by about 9%.

Combined with the high-dose Vitamin D3 w/K2, Zinc, HCQ, Colloidal Silver, and elderberry (Sambucol®) already in the Flu & Colds Kit, it gives members a straight forward set of tools they can start the moment symptoms appear-without waiting for a doctor's visit or a prescription.
